The WWE veteran’s 22-year in-ring career came to an end as she announced that she had chosen to step away from active wrestling once and for all, nearly a decade after she was called upon to do so. The star announced her retirement on her own Facebook page and informed her fans of her decision. The star in question is Jazzy “Alpha Female” Gabert.
Gabbert is a former WWE star who has wrestled all over the world. She started her career in 2001 by competing in the German Wrestling Federation. Since then, she has competed all over Europe, including England, Ireland and France. She headed to World Wondering Stardom in 2012 and she wrestled there until 2016, but returned later in her career. She also had an unforgettable run in Impact Wrestling.
Alpha Female got her first taste of WWE at the Mae Young Classic, and despite some initial contract issues, she eventually joined NXT UK in 2019. She left the promotion in 2020.
It looks like she lost her last match against Mayu Iwatani at Stardom. This time, Gabert has chosen to take a step back from her wrestling career and focus on hosting her own events, she announced. She also said she passed the torch 10 years after she was first asked by her British promoter.
Gabert’s in-ring career may be over, but she is focusing her energies on promoting Sirius Sports Entertainment in Germany.
