Sub: Compensation under the CCS (Pensions) Regulations in lieu of the National Pension Scheme for Central Government Employees Hired for Posts/Vacancy Offered/Notified on or Before 22nd December 2003 – Regarding.
Copy of CGDA, Delhi Kant Letter No. NPS-CORR/4/2020-NPS dated 06.04.2023 Pensions and Pensioners Welfare OM No. 57/05/2021-P&PW/(B) 2023 3 on above subject Enclosed here is March 3 (also available on the CGDA website). The GoI now states that the date of notification to the National Pension Scheme i. Earlier, we decided that: Covered by the National Pension Scheme upon joining on or after January 1, 2004, but given his one-time option to be covered by his CCS (Pensions) Regulations of 1972 (now he is 2021). may bePlease inform all interested parties of the contents of OM No. 57/05/2021-P&PW(B) dated March 3, 2023.
2. Forward the one-time option form (enclosed sample) from a willing individual eligible to exercise the option to: Administrator – Section 2 of this office Until 31 August 2023.
3. Civil servants who are eligible to exercise the option in accordance with the DoP&PW OM dated 3 March 2023 but do not exercise this option by the specified date will continue to be covered by the National Pension Plan.
4. Options offered are final.
