The SSA-P/NASS/Senate said on Sunday:
“In furtherance of the provisions of Article 58 of the Constitution and Article 58 of the Certification Act, A2, Federal Law of Nigeria, 2004, President Muhammadu Buhari has consented to the Parliamentary Pension Commission (Establishment) Bill.
“The National Assembly Employees’ Pension Committee (Establishment) Act establishes the National Assembly Employees’ Pension Committee to manage the pension system for National Assembly employees and exempts them from the contributory pension system.
“The President also agreed to the Federal Traffic Safety Commission Training Institute (Establishment) Bill for capacity building and training in road traffic and safety management and to provide training to members of the Federal Traffic Safety Authority.
“The Almajiri National Commission and the Out-of-School Education Bill, which was previously passed by parliament, was also approved by the president.
“This law aims to address the threat of illiteracy in Nigeria, develop skills acquisition and entrepreneurship programs, and provide a complex education system to prevent youth poverty, delinquency and extreme poverty. increase.
