Six people killed in Russian shelling in Kherson

Russian artillery fire has killed six people and injured at least 10 others in the Kherson region of southern Ukraine over the past 24 hours, local authorities have confirmed.
Kherson Oblast Governor Oleksandr Prokudin announced in a telegram on Friday that Russian forces had attacked residential areas in the region’s central and Dnipro districts.
“The enemy launched 58 attacks in the past day, firing 347 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad, tanks, drones and aircraft,” Prokudin said, according to the translation. “The enemy launched 43 shells on the city of Kherson. A bullet was fired,” he said.
“Russian forces targeted residential areas in densely populated areas of the region, administrative buildings and shops in the Kherson district, medical institutions, shops, gas stations and car washes in Kherson.
