Jay Leno, 73, has revealed he has no immediate plans to retire despite his recent motorcycle accident and car fire, but will if anything happens.
Jay Leno is still recovering from his recent car fire and motorcycle accident, but he has no plans to slow down just yet.
The 73-year-old comedian recently attended the premiere of NBC’s Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge over the weekend.
Leno revealed on the red carpet that she has no plans to quit her job just yet, but says she may change that “unless she has a stroke.”
“Then please take it easy. That’s when I retire, which is when I have a stroke,” Leno explained at the event.
The revelation comes just five months after he suffered a “broken collarbone, two broken ribs and two cracked kneecaps” in a motorcycle accident in January.

In mid-November, Leno suffered third-degree burns when the “steam car” he was building caught fire.
Still, Leno revealed last week that he’s already feeling much better and is no longer receiving physical therapy.
‘I’m fine! I’m fine. … fine! I’m fine,” Leno revealed last week, admitting he’s luckier than others.
“Look, when you’re in my position, when you’re any kind of celebrity, you’re luckier than most people,” he explained.
“So if something bad happens to me, I can’t whine and complain about it. Bad things happen to people every day. But they can’t afford it like I do,” continued Leno.
The comedian, who reportedly has a net worth of more than $450 million, joked, “People love to see rich people burn.”
“If it looks okay, it’s okay. Nobody cares how you feel.” Show business is ephemeral,” Leno admitted.
“Have fun while you can, and it’s fun. Some days you’ll be popular, some days you won’t,” he admitted.

This was after Jay suffered second and third degree burns “from a gasoline fire” while working on a 1907 white steam car at the Big Dog Garage in Burbank on November 11. That is.
According to People, Leno received skin grafts from “cadaver and pig intestines” to recreate her left ear and left side of her face at Burbank’s Grossman Burn Center.
The Mark Twain Award winner, who was childless, never stopped riding motorcycles and is blessed by his wife of 42 years, Mavis Nicholson.
“As long as it’s not cocaine and a girlfriend, she’ll be fine, trust me,” Jay said wisely.
