As a NASDAQ Composite Index with a high proportion of high-tech stocks (COMP.IND) On Friday, Cathie Wood’s flagship ARK Innovation ETF (NYSEARCA:ARKK) has also fallen, threatening to hit a new five-month low.
On Friday, ARKK 1.9%fell to the lowest price of the day $37.68. This was close to the $37.55 level reached on October 4, the lowest level since mid-May.
ARKK continues to maintain high level 18.6% However, this innovation-focused ETF has given back the majority of its gains over the past few months.At some point, ARKK +61.2% On July 19th, it hit a 2023 trading high of $51.33.
Since that day, Mr. Wood’s flagship exchange-traded fund has fallen. 26.6%. This represents a significantly steeper decline than the Nasdaq Composite Index, which fell. 6.9% over the same period.
Meanwhile, investors have withdrawn approximately $536 million from ARKK since its July 19 high.
